Synopsis For The Middle Texas Coastal Waters
Moderate northeast flow can be expected today. Winds and seas will subside tonight through Saturday as the center of high pressure moves into south Texas. Onshore flow will become established again late Sunday into Monday as low pressure develops near the Texas Panhandle and high pressure across the Southern Plains pushes east. Increasing Gulf moisture and an upper level disturbance will produce a chance of rain Sunday night and Monday. A strong cold front will move across the waters Tuesday afternoon with strong offshore flow and large seas expected behind it.
