Synopsis For Lower Atchafalaya To High Island Tx Out 60 Nm Northerly winds begin diminishing this morning as high pressure builds in. Southerly winds return by early Monday as the high moves over the eastern states. Scattered thunderstorms are expected late Monday on into early Wednesday as an upper level trof deepens and moves southeast through Texas. Strong northwesterly winds are possible late Tuesday in the wake of a Pacific cold front.

Today Northeast winds around 20 knots diminishing to 15 to 20 knots by afternoon. Seas 3 to 5 feet.
Tonight Northeast winds 10 to 15 knots becoming north 5 to 10 knots after midnight. Seas 2 to 4 feet. Isolated showers.
Saturday North winds 5 to 10 knots becoming northwest 10 to 15 knots in the afternoon. Seas 2 feet or less.
Saturday Night North winds 10 to 15 knots. Seas 2 to 3 feet.
Sunday Southeast winds around 15 knots. Seas 3 feet.
Monday South winds around 20 knots. Seas building 6 to 7 feet. A chance of showers and thunderstorms.
