Winds will gradually weaken over the waters in the wake of a cold front. The storm system passing north of the waters will send higher swell across the coastal waters by this afternoon which will continue into Thursday before diminishing on Friday. High pressure will build offshore Thursday and then persist through Saturday. A thermal trough will develop near the coast Thursday night...then shift inland Saturday.

W wind 5 to 10 kt. Wind waves 2 ft or less. NW swell 12 to 13 ft at 12 seconds. Slight chance of showers through the day.

N wind 5 to 15 kt. Wind waves 2 ft or less... becoming 3 ft after midnight. NW swell 10 to 11 ft. Patchy fog after midnight.
