Lake Wind Advisory
Statement as of 12.43.PM CST a 01 desembre 2008
... Lake Wind Advisory in effect until 3 PM CST this afternoon...
The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a lake Wind
Advisory... which is in effect until 3 PM CST this afternoon.
Westerly winds will be sustained between 10 and 15 mph with some
gusts of 25 to 30 mph. The winds and gusts will gradually diminish
through late the afternoon hours.
A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
