It was foraging around under the birdfeeder, where many many seeds have fallen over the past couple of weeks, with the hordes of migrators (mostly sparrows) that have recently arrived.

That's one of the really neat things about this site, (second only to the great weather photos and info) you can almost always get an ID on a bird, butterfly or flower!"
